In the early summer of last year, my close friend Carol and I took a hiking trip to the Great Wall in Beijing China vacation deals. It is a long exhausted one but absolutely an amazing, well, how to say, once-in-a-life-time experience.

Our original plan was took one day to Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and well-facility one, but actually, we took 7 days in total for this jouey, climbing 4 sections of the Great Wall in Beijing and Tianjin, that is, Beijing Juyongguan Pass/Great Wall-Badaling Great Wall-Tianjin Huangyaguan Pass/Great Wall-Beijing Jinshanling Great Wall-Mutianyu Great Wall. This travel strategy we just download from the inteet written by an experienced travel fan.

We flew to Beijing on April 8 and landed on Beijing about 2hours later. Then we took a taxi to our in hostel Beijing - City Central Youth Hotel, which near the Tian’anmen Square and the famous commercial street – Wangfujing Street.

Get ready for our Great Wall Hiking!

April 9, a tour to Juyongguan Pass and Badaling Great Wall. We got up very early and took about 1.5 hours driving by coach to Juyongguan Pass, which was built in early Ming Dynasty (1368), stretched about 4000 m. Some of the framework was rebuilt in early 1990’s, but still remained its imperial manner thoroughly.

Before reaching the pass, we just can imagine how grand the building would be according to the descriptions on the books. On arrival, we knew that words were but wind. A high strategic pass (6 m or so) showed in front of us. As the time went by, some green unknown plant has rooted on the wall. We entered the gate hole, felt like we started a time travel top China tours.

As the whole construction of the great wall of this section was built along Jundushan Mountain, which noted for its abrupt descent and deep valley, we have to climb up and down, up and down. For one section, you could almost see the heel of the tourist before you – too steep.

As we have to tour Badaling in the afteoon, we only spent about 2 hours for climbing. After a simple lunch in a fastfood shop nearby, we back to our jouey.

Badaling was the first section opened to public, well-preserved and has convenient tourism facilities. So we decided to go further this time. However, as met the weekend, that were too many people!

At the beginning, we tried hard to break our way through the crow. One hour later, we climbed faster, chatted and enjoyed the landscape changing. But another hour later, we were in no mood for doing anything else but climbing, walking…We took two short break to charge snack bars during that long hiking (Carol said we spent 3.5hours). My leg hurts after we got back to our hostel. Oh my! I have to climb the Huangyaguan Pass the next day! Carol felt alright. “Don’t look at me with your big green eyes,” she said.

April 10, we took express train to Tianjin popular China travel package, which only took our 30 minutes. Firstly, we checked in our hostel in downtown, then took bus to the bus station in Ji County, transferred to a small coach to reach Huangyaguan area. It was already lunch time when we got there. After that, we started our hiking along the Huangyaguan Pass (Great Wall).

At first, we kept our normal speed and took some photos when we sew something interesting. During the way, we could see a small village just locates on the foot of the mountain.

One hour later, we started to climb over a section of destroyed wall. Only half of the wall body been kept, and it seemed the wall bricks had been used up when reached this section that could only use big rocks to piled up.

We took nearly 1 hour for it till we reached Tian Ti – a very very high and steep stone way. My leg was painful and shook, so we have to give up and back.

That night, Carol’s leg was in pain. Both of us agreed that to take a rest for one day. So, on April 11, we spent a whole moing in the hostel then took express train back to Beijing.

April 12, continue our Great Wall hiking trip. Today we climbed Jinshanling Great Wall, with a total length of 10.5 km. As our legs not in good condition, we decided to climb only half of the distance then back, which took us nearly 3.5hours as we could not walk fast as usual.

It is said that the section between Jinshanling and Simatai was the best preserved one in Beijing, for its original look, thus we have many accompanies during the way, most of them are foreign friends. However, the Simatai Great Wall was just during the restoration.

April 13, hiking to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Our final strike for this jouey! We encouraged each other and decided, after this climbing, should enjoy a really good dinner for celebration!

To be honest, I had no idea what to expect as I have never traveled to China before, and was quite surprised and pleased with what it has to offer.

I’ll breakdown my feedback into where we visited.

Huangshan Mountain (Yellow Mountain)--Absolutely stunning scenery, even with the cloudy day we had, I could still see what a magical place it is. I could have spent another day just wandering around there on my own. I had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend a visit to the Yellow Mountain China tour deals for clients. The hotel was quite nice, and the Ancient Street in Tunxi was fun with lots of things to buy. I preferred this market to yew gardens in Shanghai.

Xidi--the ancient village of Xidi China best tours was also very interesting, from the waterways in the street to the ancient house and carvings inside, this is another place I could have happily spent an afteoon wandering on my own, the culture was there and I found the people quite friendly. It was nice to visit some of these smaller places so I can recommend them to clients; it’s always nice to know first-hand what one is talking about .

Thanks again for the opportunity to visit your lovely country; I look forward to coming back and exploring more.

Outside of Tongling,in the southeaste part of Chizhou city, Anhui province China travel deals, lies Jiuhua Mountain. Its name literally means "Nine Brilliant Mountains," but the 100 square kilometer area actually consists of 99 peaks, with the tallest one reaching 1,341 meters. It's a lush, green mountainous area where Buddhist and Taoist monks live among the low hanging clouds and bamboo trees harmoniously with nature. Most of the Buddhist temples found here are of Mahayana Buddhism origins, with the more remote peaks belonging to the Taoist Buddhist school of thought.

In wanting to understand China more, I realized that it is necessary to explore the country's ancient past, rather than only on its recent history. How one goes about that and where one decides to start depends mostly on circumstance and luck. Thankfully there's no set way or prescribed path. It's more about being in the right place at the right time, where you accidentally stumble upon something you never knew existed. So after spending five days in Tongling, myself and other reporters from CRI were treated to an excursion through the holy area of Jiuhua Mountain, which was nice to way to end several days celebrating the 11th Annual Bronze Exhibition top 10 China tour packages.

The bus up the mountain was a careful ride which took us on a winding and twisting jouey through one of China's most sacred mountain ranges. As for its religious past, Jiuhua Mountain is known as the home to Dizang Pusa, the God of the Underworld.

Without question, Jiuhua Mountain's 99 peaks make it one of China's most amazing scenic destinations—it could easily take days to cover this vast expanse. It's a vibrant place alive with the Buddhist and Taoist monks living there among ancient temples. You'll only find vegetarian restaurants here, along with small shops selling incense, local woodwork carvings, and other souvenirs. The area also offers affordable hotels for those who want to spend more time within this tranquil sanctuary. And please be respectful, cameras are not allowed inside any of the ancient temples, nor are visitors allowed to take photos even from the outside.

Legend has it that Jiuhua Mountain became famous in the year 747 A.D., when the Chinese poet Li Bai met Kim Kiao Kak, a Korean prince who died in the mountains after seventy-five years of praying to Dizang Pusa. Li Bai's fate was quite different. He died in the nearby Yangtze River while trying to embrace the reflection of the moon, but luckily not before writing some of the finest poetry in literary history.

Another unique feature of the area is its abundance of bamboo trees. The Minyuan Garden is a place where one can absorb this natural treasure
popular China tour package, as this area consists of 160 hectares of thick green bamboo trees. Other places not to miss are the Longxi (Dragon) Stream, Ancient Phoenix Pine (over 1,000 years old), Huayan Cave, Telpher Stop, Huiju Temple, and the Green Cloud Nunnery.

After a vegetarian lunch consisting of noodles, soup, rice, boiled snails and other dishes, we descended the rainy mountain all feeling, for one reason or another, more peaceful. The area has a meditative quality to it you won't find among many mountain ranges.

One of my favorite things about living in China is discovering the surprises it has to offer. Enjoying the scenery and peacefulness of Jiuhua Mountain is something everyone should take in at least once, regardless of where you live or where you're from. For those already in China, you have no excuse; go as soon as you can.

Colorful cap is part of the Uygur ethnic minority's habiliment Silk Road tours, and also one of the symbols of the minority. As early as the Tang Dynasty (618-907), most males of the Weste Regions wore a pointed-topped felt hat with a tuup edge, quite similar to the present-day "Sipianwa". By the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), owing to the influence of Arabian and Central Asian culture, men of the Uygur ethnic minority had begun to shave their heads and wear small embroidered caps. In the beginning period of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the colorful cap of the minority developed further in material and design. Leather was used in winter and damask silk in summer, with fowl feather inserted at the front. All caps for female were decorated with purl embroidery.

Through the constant innovation by the Uygur people of all places, the colorful cap has become increasingly delicate in workmanship and progressively various in styles. But the chief types are "Qiyiman" and "Badanmu", generally called "Gaba" (four-sided tiny colorful cap affordable China tours).

"Qinyiman" cap is flowery in color, and its needle work is fine and smooth. It is embroidered with chromatic threads made of silver and gold, and set with some small plastic beads of various colors. Boys and girls wearing them dance and sing under the shady grape trellis.

CHINATOUR.COM
"Badanmu" was derived from Badanxing (prunus amygdalus top 10 China tours), which is a tree originating from Persia, characterized by its ability to blossom and bear fruit even in an arid desert. According to the character of prunus amygdalus and its meniscoid core, the highly imaginative Uygur use white silk thread, and the technique of combination of curve, straight, dots and lines, to embroider a patte of apricots crowded around by ripples and beads, symbolizing that trickling springs are nourishing fruitful trees. Such a simple and elegant "Badanmu" colorful cap is especially favored by middle-aged and old people.

There are many ways to embroider the colorful cap: silk thread plane embroidering, cross-shaped embroidering, silk thread knot embroidering, bead string embroidering, lattice embroidering, gold and silver embroidering, crochet embroidering, enlaced cloth with soft nap embroidering and integrated embroidering combined with brede, enlacing, cluster and entwining. Uygur women first embroider chromatic pattes on the four pieces of cap cover, then sew them together, fixing the lining on it and putting it on the wooden mold, and finally add the black velveteen margin. So, the dainty little colorful cap has come out.
